A veteran-owned, family-built combat sports brand.
Roll Gear LLC is a veteran-owned, family-built combat sports apparel brand based in Virginia Beach, Virginia. We were founded by two Navy veterans who brought the same values from military service onto the mat: discipline, accountability, and a commitment to doing things the right way.
We make premium BJJ, no-gi, and grappling gear for athletes at every level. Every design we produce is something we stand behind: nothing inappropriate, nothing distasteful. Gear that any athlete can wear and any family can be proud of.
Roll Gear started with a simple idea
Build a military line that honored the people who serve. Veterans, active duty service members, and first responders deserve gear that reflects what they represent. That was the foundation, and it still is.
From there the brand grew to reflect everything we believe about combat sports and the people who train in them. We believe the mat is one of the most valuable places a person can be. It builds character. It builds discipline. It builds the kind of confidence that stays with you.
We built Roll Gear to support that, for everyone who trains.

Girls on the Mat
She's not new here. She's been here: drilling, competing, tapping people out, and earning every rank the same way anyone does. On the mat, nothing is given.
Girls on the Mat is for her. It's gear built for female athletes: fit, function, and design that take her as seriously as she takes her training. And it's a community that has her back, whether she's stepping on for her first class or her hundredth match.
If you train, you already belong here. If you're thinking about it, come find out what the mat gives back.
Every woman who steps onto the mat belongs there.
Future Champions Initiative
The mat teaches kids things a classroom cannot always reach. Self-control. Resilience. The understanding that effort produces results. We have watched it happen firsthand.
The Future Champions Initiative exists to make sure financial barriers do not keep young athletes off the mat. We support youth programs and athletes who are doing the real work of developing the next generation.
Our Standard
Roll Gear is built on three pillars: Service, Community, and Performance. Everything we produce, every partnership we take on, and every athlete we outfit is measured against those three things.
We are a small, veteran-owned brand. We are not trying to be everything to everyone. We are trying to do this right: for the athletes, families, and communities that combat sports are built on.

Own the Mat. Own the Moment. Earned Not Given.
Roll Gear LLC is owned and operated by U.S. Navy veterans, and our Military & First Responder Collection is built with input from the veteran and first responder community, not just for it.
