Slideshow about our brand

Roll Gear LLC is a veteran-owned, family-built combat sports apparel brand based in Virginia Beach, Virginia. We were founded by two Navy veterans who brought the same values from military service onto the mat: discipline, accountability, and a commitment to doing things the right way.

We make premium BJJ, no-gi, and grappling gear for athletes at every level. Every design we produce is something we stand behind: nothing inappropriate, nothing distasteful. Gear that any athlete can wear and any family can be proud of.

Roll Gear started with a simple idea

Build a military line that honored the people who serve. Veterans, active duty service members, and first responders deserve gear that reflects what they represent. That was the foundation, and it still is.

From there the brand grew to reflect everything we believe about combat sports and the people who train in them. We believe the mat is one of the most valuable places a person can be. It builds character. It builds discipline. It builds the kind of confidence that stays with you.

We built Roll Gear to support that, for everyone who trains.

Service
We honor everyone who has served this nation and community. Our military and first responder collection was the beginning of this brand and remains central to everything we do. The discount we extend to veterans, active duty, and first responders does not expire. It is not a sale. It is a standard.
Community
We believe combat sports belong to everyone. Every athlete who walks onto the mat carries something in and leaves with something better. The mat teaches what few other places can. Athletes learn to channel intensity, process emotion, and stay composed under pressure. They build the discipline and confidence that carry them through life, on and off the mat. And in a world that grows more unpredictable, knowing how to protect yourself matters. For everyone. The Future Champions Initiative supports youth access to that experience. Girls on the Mat supports women and girls in claiming it. Both exist because we believe the mat changes people, and everyone deserves the chance to find that out.
Performance
Our gear is tested by our own family on real mats. Our children compete at IBJJF and ADCC events. We train alongside them. If the gear does not hold up under those conditions it does not carry our name. That is the only standard we apply.

Own the Mat. Own the Moment. Earned Not Given.

Roll Gear LLC is owned and operated by U.S. Navy veterans, and our Military & First Responder Collection is built with input from the veteran and first responder community, not just for it.
